For people facing Alzheimer's, the challenge is every day. For you, it's just one day. June 18.

We're going to raise $5000 for the Alzheimer's Association on June 18 and we need your help to do it! We'll be open for free for 16 hours that day, and only ask for a donation in return.

  • Do your regular workout anytime between 6 am and 8 pm
  • Compete for glory in our Knock-Out basketball tournament
  • Take a Happy Hour class at 1 or 2 pm
  • Take a women's self defense class taught by Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt Jeremy Lafreniere at 3 pm
  • Test your max between 4 and 6 pm

Need more incentive to join us? Get a free SAPT t-shirt if you join our Longest Day team and collect more than $200 in donations advance. Donate of $50 or more that day and you'll get to choose the playlist for your workout!

SAPT is stronger than Alzheimer’s!

I'm stepping out of the background (where I quietly manage the SAPT office and perform administrative miracles), to announce that SAPT is participating in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day fundraiser on June 18. Everyone at SAPT feels strongly about supporting the Alzheimer’s Association’s mission. Our owner, Sarah Walls, lost both of her grandmothers to the disease and my mother passed away in 2015 after a long battle with Alzheimer’sI'm organizing this fundraiser to honor my father, who lovingly cared for Mom for years, and to help further Alzheimer's research for the sake of my sister, brother, and daughters.

The staff at SAPT was incredibly supportive as I traveled back and forth to my parents' home last year to help care for my mom. Now they're supporting me again by helping me organize and staff this event that is so close to my heart.

On June 18, we’ll fill the 16 daylight hours with free workouts and classes. In return, we’re asking for donations that will go to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.

 

There are lots of ways to get involved. Join our team and help us raise money, donate to our team in advance, and/or join us on June 18. SAPT will be open to the public that day, so invite your friends, family, and neighbors!
